Biography
Landscape and portrait painter born in Greensfork, Indiana. Her painting "The Hoosier's Nest" was accepted by the Indiana General Assembly in 1849 for the State Library of Indiana. However her husband Samuel Boyd removed the painting and took it home after it was criticized in a newspaper.
