Biography
Born in Franklin, Tennessee. Painted animals (especially horses and camels), landscapes and genre paintings in oil and pastel. Known as the "Rosa Bonheur of America." Studied with Virgil Williams in San Francisco and Van Marcke and Felix Barrias in Paris. Married the painter F. Blaskovic.
