Biography

Painter born in Chauteau-Thierry, France in 1896 or 1898. Taught painting and drawing at the Moore Institute of Art in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania between 1923-1961. Studied at the Philadelphia Academy of Fine Art and the Philadelphia School of Design for Women (now the Moore Institute) with Samuel Murray, H.B. Snell and Charles Grafly. Married Arthur Meltzer.
