Biography
Painter born in 1814. Born into a multi-generational family of artists including her father, Rembrandt Peale, sister Rosalba Carriera Peale and grandfather Charles Willson Peale. Her uncle and several of her aunts were also painters. Married James Peabody in 1838 and Caleb D. Barton in 1845.
