Biography

Verle L. Mickish served as Instructor of Art at the Lab School at Colorado State College of Education (now the University of Northern Colorado), from 1955-1956. He attended the Lab School at Colorado State College of Education. He received a B.A. in Fine Arts in 1951 and a M.A. in Fine Arts in 1955, both from Colorado State College of Education. Dr. Verle L. Mickish was invited to present "A 60-Year Retrospect: Media, Style and Technique" for a homecoming art exhibit sponsored by the Friends of the UNC Libraries from September 30-November 5, 2010. Dr.Verle Leon Mickish passed away on July 14, 2016.
