Biography

Petrikin was a prominent Greeley banker and community leader. He served as a Trustee of the State Normal School of Colorado (now the University of Northern Colorado), 1899-1903. He also served as the grand master of the Masonic Lodge when it was built in 1927. Petrikin sold his farm to the University of Northern Colorado in 1956. The University Center is located where Inspiration Point was originally located.
