Biography

Robert C. Easterday attended Colorado State College of Education (now the University of Northern Colorado) in 1942. While at the college, he took a social studies class with James A. Michener. He left to serve in World War II. He was stationed in Alaska during the war. He returned to the college and received a Bachelor's Degree (with Teaching certificate) in General Secondary in June 1950. He taught in the Cordova Public Schools in Cordova, Alaska while completing his 1957 thesis A Study of Dropouts in Alaska Public High Schools. He graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Educational Administration in December 1957.

Abstract

This collection includes correspondence, a copy of the 1943 Cache La Poudre year book from Colorado State College of Education, a copy of the author's book, A Kid's-Eye View of Early Greeley, and a condensed version of a tape recording, "A Tour of the Lindenmeier/Folsom Site."
