Oral History Interviews
Collection Scope and Contents
In 2005, Dr. George H. Junne’s Africana Studies 102 class conducted interviews with twenty-nine African American or mixed-race women. This collection contains transcriptions of the interviews compiled in a report entitled Black Women of Today Oral History Project: A Class Project Conducted by the Students of AFS 102 "The Black Woman in America." The interviewees include students, college professors, a social worker, a banker, a veterinarian, and a former Wyoming State Legislator. The collection also contains recordings of six of the interviews, 2 on VHS tapes and 4 on audio cassettes.
