Scope and Contents
The Bryson House was the home of Dr. Margaret Elizabeth Bryson, who served in several positions at the University of Northern Colorado from 1922-1957, including Medical Advisor of Women, Associate Professor of Physical Education, Professor Physical Education for Women, Physican for Women, and Professor Emeritus of Health Education. In addition to her medical degree from the University of Texas at Austin, she received a M.A. from Colorado State Teachers College in 1928. The tile of her thesis is The Educational Implications of Watson's Behaviorism. The Sigma Chi fraternity was based in the Bryson House in the 1980s.
