Gordon Hall, 1921-
Scope and Contents
Decker Hall along with Gordon and Belford Halls were the first dormitories built on the campus. These Dutch Colonial Revival dormitories were originally built in 1921 to house women. Gordon Hall is named for Sophia Park Gordon, an education, social and political leader in Colorado. The University Counseling Center was housed in Gordon Hall from 1989 until Cassidy Hall was built in 1997-1998. The Counseling Center moved into Cassidy Hall in March 1999.
