Gordon Hall is named for Sophia Park Gordon, an education, social and political leader in Colorado. The University Counseling Center was housed in Gordon Hall from 1989 until Cassidy Hall was built in 1997-1998. The Counseling Center moved into Cassidy Hall in March 1999.
