Scope and Contents
The [url=http://www.unco.edu/arts/lydiaruyle/]Lydia Ruyle Room of Women's Art[/url] is named for Lydia Ruyle, who served as an adjunct faculty member in the College of Visual and Performing Arts and was a UNC Honored Alumni for 1996. Lydia Ruyle and Ruth Savig designed the University of Northern Colorado banners that are used at commencement, convocation and other events. Lydia Miller Ruyle received a Master of Arts in Fine Arts from the University of Northern Colorado in 1972. She is the author of Goddess Icons: Spirit Banners of the Divine Feminine.
