Scope and Contents
The original heating plant, known as Building #1, was built in 1911 and demolished in 1928. The second heating plant, or boiler house, was rebuilt in 1932 and 1939. Remodeling of the plant took place in 1963 when it became an Industrial Arts Facilty. The building was remodeled again and expanded and has been used by the Department of Visual Arts since 2002. see also -- Arts Annex see also Cogeneration Plant
