Lone Valley Schoolhouse, 1959-
Scope and Contents
The Lone Valley Schoolhouse was in use from 1922-1954 in Washington County, Colorado. The building was donated to Colorado State College in 1959 by Washington County School District No. 9 and used as part of the "college's centennial celebration on June 29, 1959." The schoolhouse was located at the corner of 9th Avenue and 17th Street and shortly thereafter moved to the Petrikin Farm campus (now the West Campus). Several years later it was moved to Centennial Village Museum.
