Restaurants on Campus
Scope and Contents
Restaurants on campus included a lunch counter in the Administration Building (Cranford Hall) in 1913 and a cafeteria known as the "Spotted Calf" in Crabbe Hall which closed at end of Summer 1928. The popular student cafe, the Bru Inn, was located in the west wing of the Student Union. It was named in honor of the school mascot, the bear. Various restarants were located in the University Center, including Hungry Harold's and Innovations, A Center Diner's Card was added in 1988. Sources: "Cafeteria Closes at End of Summer."
