Wilson and Wiebking Halls were built in 1957 east and south of Snyder and Sabin. A list of those houses and their owners is in the Building Survey report for Wilson Hall, available in Archives. Named for Edith Gale Wiebking, associate dean of women, professor of English and director fo the women's campus residence halls. She served the University of Northern Colorado from 1918-1949. She graduated with a M.A. from Colorado State Teachers College in 1927. Her thesis is entitled: A Survey of Home Economics Work Offered in the Consolidated Schools of Weld County (LB1840.G744 1927 .W542).
