Collection Scope and Contents
Collection contains materials relating to the development and marketing of the University of Northern Colorado Honors Program and the Center for Honors, Scholars, and Leadership, including an early 1962 program progress report written by program founder Eugene D. Koplitz, 1984 program redesign plans, and later annual self-study reports. Collection also includes correspondence between administrators and students concerning Honors Program retention and a 1963 class reunion, clipping regarding graduates of the program, brochures, "Embracing the Community" event merchandise, and other recruitment materials. A new accession contains four scrapbooks with photographs, flyers, brochures, and clippings documenting Honors Program and Student Honors Council activities from 1990-2004.
