Latine Queer Artwork, 2025-09 - 2026-05

The artists' statement with the piece reads: "The Latine Queer Affinity group was a collection of UNCOs Latine Queer students on campus. It was space that existed in many rooms, buildings, and centers at the University. But the community they built was with them when they were together. Created by Red Gabriel and Ezi Garcia. By their 2nd year of group, they became dedicated of making an art piece that celebrated the intersection of being Latine and Queer. However, under today's circumstance they used the canvas to expel frustrations with the current climate on and off campus. Especially with those who pretend to care to bridge the gap between queer latine students."
