Collection Scope and Contents
This collection contains information on various special programs, mostly international programs, at the University of Northern Colorado. The bulk of this collection documents the Pakistan Program, which ran from 1959-1969. Materials related to this program include books, publications, periodicals, reports, photographs, posters, maps, clippings, and scrapbooks. Other documents found within this collection include photographs, promotional materials, reports, newspaper articles, and correspondence.

Biographical / Historical
The Fine Arts Department at the University of Northern Colorado supervised a Comparative Arts program at “La Poggerina” near Florence, Italy. Paolo Giovanni Barucchieri served as the director of the program. This program partially satisfied the “major and minor requirements in the Department of Fine Arts, Anthropology, Humanities or General Education requirements.” The program was moved from Continuing Education to resident instruction effective September 1, 1978."
