Scope and Contents
3 copies. This 62 page report summarizes the program from its inception at Colorado State College. It includes a history of the program which came out of discussions at faculty meetings in early 1957. Proposals were made, criticized, reconsidered and adopted. The program actually began in the Fall 1958. The report includes lenghty discussions of the various considerations regarding the program including the relationship to general education and professional education, selection of students, courses involved, and the need for an ongoing honors committee. Appendix A lists the names of the faculty members on the Honors Committe from 1957 through 1961. Other appendices list names of students in the program along with their grade point averages and various statistics and reports concerning the program.
