Collection Scope and Contents
This collection contains varied artifacts and memorabilia produced by or given to the University of Northern Colorado, mainly sports or awards related. Materials include sports and homecoming trophies, scholar and faculty award plaques, United Way plaques, sports jerseys, sorority and fraternity related clothing and paddles, dishware and other items with the school logo, electric scoreboard, and outdated school banners.

Abstract
This collection contains artifacts and memorabilia related to University of Northern Colorado, including sculptures, award plaques, framed certificates, trophies, banners, sports jerseys, insignia sweaters, and sports and school memorabilia.
Acquisition Information
Series 1: Artifacts, Plaques, Memorabilia & Ephemera (Acquisition #unknown) received from the President's Office in July 2000. Acquisition #09.06 -- Gift of Craig McWhirter on April 9, 2009 (RG24 S1, Box 007.018). Series 2: Trophies (Acquisition #07.02a). A gift of the Dean's Office of the Health and Human Services Department in 2007. Series 3: Academic Excellence Departmental Scholar Plaques (Acquisition #07.02) received from Jean Schober Morrell, Dean of Students, on January 12, 2007. Series 4: Trophies(Acquisition #unknown) received from Wiebking Hall on August 30, 2000. Series 5: Advance Paper Cutter (Acquisition # 08.13) received from Woody Myers in Creative Services on September 25, 2008. Schulmerich Carillons date received is unknown. Series 6: Greek life awards and publications (Acquisition #11.05) was received in October 2010 from the Student Activities Office. Accn 19.17: Makeup compact and pendant necklace purchased on eBay in June 2019. UNC Bears magnets and flag transferred by the UNC Office of Equity and Inclusion in March 2019. Accn 22.12: Donna Lakin donated the CSC beanie and shirt on June 22, 2021. The Campus Recreation Center transferred the trophy on August 30, 2021. Mike Lincoln donated the spoon in November 2021.
