Scope and Contents

This collection includes correspondence from Nadia Orapchuck's era (1960s-1980s), photographs, slides, a typed carbon copy of "Mitch the Witch" with his notes, autographed posters (Iberia), and the actual red stamp (original). There are six boxes of correspondence, two boxes containing biographical materials about Michener, manuscripts of some of his writings, financial information, and other materials as well as one box of photographs and one box of original newspapers. Nadia Orapchuck was Michener's secretary during the 1960s-1980s. Chris Knasiak is Nadia Orapchuck's daughter.
