Collection Scope and Contents
This collection consists of news clippings and other information on various honorary societies at the University of Northern Colorado. It includes extensive administrative files and membership records for Phi Delta Kappa (1926-1984); scrapbooks, newsletters and minutes for SPURS National Honor Society; photo albums and scrapbooks for Mortar Board; and scrapbooks for the Orchesis and Golden Key organizations. The framed 1920 charter for Kappa Delta Pi is also found in this collection.

Abstract
This collection consists of news clippings for various honorary societies at the University of Northern Colorado as well as administrative files and scrapbooks for several of the organizations.
Acquisition Information
Acquisition information for most of the materials in this collection is unknown. The Mortar Board scrapbooks were transferred from Academic Support and Advising by Jennifer Griffin in 2006 and 2013. Two framed items, a photo of William C. Bagley and the charter for the Kappa Delta Pi Fraternity, were transferred to Archives by Jim Gall of Educational Technology on April 23, 2012.
