Abstract
The abstracts were published by University Microfilms. A plan adopted by Colorado State College of Education required each candidate for a doctor's degree to "complete either two or three Field Studies" to meet the research requirements. Through the years the field study approach was replaced by a "single research study." The Graduate Council of Colorado State College requested that University Microfilms Corporation include all abstracts published after September 1, 1961 be included in Dissertation Abstracts. Thus, the 1961 volume was the last edition.
