Collection Scope and Contents
Consists of records from The Friends of the University of Northern Colorado Libraries from 1972 through 2020. The Friends of the University of Northern Colorado Libraries was founded on February 23, 1973. Materials include membership lists and dues, photographs of members, library exhibits, and events, scrapbooks, meeting minutes, programs, event calendars, fundraising events, newsletters, newspaper clippings, and financial reports. Also includes detailed information about the Friends of the Library Book Sale, 1992-2020. The organization has contributed to the financial welfare of the Libraries, encouraged area artists to exhibit their talents, sponsored receptions for visiting artists and speakers, and organized fundraising projects.

President materials left for safe keeping by Rhoten Smith, June 1991. President materials left for safe keeping by Shirley Soenksen, April 2005. Libraries Administration transferred material in May 2021.
