Collection Scope and Contents
This collection contains news clippings about the University of Northern Colorado. News clippings contain factual, informational, or human interest stories about the University community. They are about administration policy, curriculum, faculty and staff accomplishments, employment, resignations, promotions, workshops, conferences, lectures, concerts, musical programs, theater presentations, calendars, and weather reports. Student stories are about activities, scholarships and accomplishments. Sports information is about men's and women's sports, game coverage, meets, sports calendars, and accomplishments of students. The clippings also contain obituaries.

Abstract
This collection contains news clippings about the University of Northern Colorado.
Arrangement
The news clippings are organized in folders in chronological order.
Acquisition Information
The News and Public Relations Department requested in mid-December 2014 that Archival Services keep copies of the news clippings since they were now in electronic format. The Colorado Press Association partnered with Newz Group to provide coverage of “general circulation newspapers in Colorado.” The clippings were emailed by News and Public Relations Department staff to Archival Services. Archival Services staff then printed copies of the news clippings rather than keep the electronic or PDF copies.
