Collection Scope and Contents
This collection contains information regarding Greek Letter organizations on campus. The materials are primarily newspaper clippings and photocopies from University Catalogs, Bulletins, and the Cache la Poudre. Other materials include original photographs of the 1914 Chi Alpha Theta sorority members, memorabilia such as dance cards from the 1930s, and the framed Pi Lambda Theta (Alpha Omicron chapter) Charter from 1941.

Oganizational History
Fraternities first appeared on campus in 1903. Delta Psi was organized on February 4, 1903, and Lambda Gamma Kappa on November 3, 1903.
Sororities first appeared on campus in 1905. Delta Phi Omega was organized on April 5, 1905, and Sigma Upsilon on October 25, 1905.

Acquisition Information
Acquisition information for most of the materials in this collection is unknown. In 2012, Clinton Harris of the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences Dean’s Office transferred the Pi Lambda Theta Charter to the Archives.
