Collection Scope and Contents
This collection documents the planning, change, and growth of UNC's built enviornment. It contains plans, blueprints, and renderings of UNC buildings, building dedication emphemera, property valuations, and construction documents. Also included are long-range development and master plans for both physical spaces and departments, including UNC Facilities Management. There are photographs of aerials, Cranford building fire, construction, completed buildings, and a Womens Athletic Association scrapbook. This collection also contains information on art on campus (including Totem Teddy), space planning, remodels, and photographs in Gunter Hall. It also includes two time capsules- the Belford Hall Time Capsule and cornerstone box from 1890.

Abstract
This collection documents the University of Northern Colorado's built environment. It contains architectural and landscape plans, long-range and master plans, photographs, reports, and other materials related to the planning and growth of the UNC campus.
Acquisition Information
UNC Facility Planning and Construction transferred photographs in March 2005. Michael Sheehan donated Totem Teddy materials in May 2008. The UNC Health and Human Services Dean's Office transferred Gunter Hall-related materials in July 2008. William B. Ecker of Ireland and Parr Architect and Engineer, Inc. donated floor plans of UNC buildings in January 2018. Music Library and Frasier Hall plans transferred from the Music Library in 2019. Stephanie Torrez, Assistant VP for Student Success, transferred materials in July 2019. Library administration transferred the Campus Commons Groundbreaking pamphlet in May 2019. Two volumes on building program plans were transferred to this collection from UNC Office of the Provost records (RG007-S001) in November 2020; material is in box # RG15.S21. Acquisition information for the remainder of the collection is unknown.
