Collection Scope and Contents

The collection contains publications by faculty members at the University of Northern Colorado. It includes published manuscripts, books, reprints, sheet music, galleys, drafts, speeches, and articles from a variety of faculty members in a variety of disciplines. Faculty members John Elbert Chadwick, Donald Decker, Robert Ehle, Oliver Kolstoe, Anthony Menk, William Nesse, Evelyn Newman, Gerald Schmidt, Robert Sund, and A.M. Winchester have a larger portion of material in this collection. It also contains reports on K-12 schools accross the United States created by the Educational Planning Service at UNC. Publications that were part of the McKee Language Series and Singer Science Series, both authored by several UNC faculty members, are also part of this collection. A more detailed but incomplete inventory is available.

Abstract

Acquisition Information

This collection is made up of multiple donations from several individuals. The UNC Archives and Special Collections created this record group series prior to 1989 to hold all faculty publications and related documentation. Specific information about the acquisition for most of the collection is unknown. Bob Ehle donated CDs in 2006; Elizabeth Denney donated sheet music in 2008; the UNC Music Library transferred materials in 2009 and 2017; George Sage donated a CD in 2010; Margaret Langley donated material in 2010; William Nesse donated material in 2012.
