Collection Scope and Contents
This collection includes audio cassettes and transcriptions of interviews with UNC faculty members and administrators between 1972 and 1978. Additionally, interviews conducted between 1984 and 1987 by Robert Larson as part of his research for the book Shaping Educational Change are included. There are also audio cassettes of faculty interviews which were used in the 2004-2005 Sound Model Project.

The 1972-1978 oral history interview tapes and transcripts were arranged by UNC librarian Virginia Costello. These interviews were conducted by Ms. Costello, Alex Jardine, John Bothell, Anne Rogers, Richard Ellinger, and William Lambden.
Robert Larson conducted the 1984-1987 oral history interviews while writing his book Shaping Educational Change.

This collection includes tapes and transcripts of oral history interviews with UNC faculty members and interviews conducted by Robert Larson during development of his book Shaping Educational Change.
The 1972-1978 interviews are filed separately from the 1984-1987 interviews. Transcriptions and audio cassettes are ordered alphabetically by name of the interviewee.
