This collection consists of lantern slides taken of various activities at the State Normal School of Colorado and Colorado State Teachers College between 1890 and 1930. Some slides indicate the names of photographers or photography studios. Most of the scenes in the images are from classrooms and school buildings or were taken somewhere on the school campus. Photographs from these slides most likely appeared in the college catalogs, bulletins, and yearbooks, or they may have been used to promote the college at meetings, workshops, or conferences.
