The Ujniversity's first free-standing Music Library opened in October 1997.  Prior to 1997 the Music Library was located in Frasier Hall. On May 6, 2005, the Music Library was officially named the Howard M. Skinner Music Library in honor of [url=http://library.unco.edu/music/Skinner.htm]Dr. Howard M.
