The Home Economics Practice Cottage was used by students as a domestic sciences laboratory. The women lived in the Cottage for several weeks to practice their skills. It was later renamed Roudebush Cottage. Margaret M. Roudebush served as a professor of home arts from 1918-1940. Roudebush Cottage has been the home of the Graudate Center, Retired Seniors Volunteer Program and currently houses Veteran Services. see also -- Graduate Center
