Faculty Senate minutes, agendas and supporting documents (1925-1985) can be found in this collection. It also includes senate actions such as votes and approvals from the 1960s-2007. A small portion of this collection relates to miscellaneous faculty organizations, 1911-1992 and 2010-2017.

It also contains the Faculty Senate newsletter, "Faculty Senate Forum," 1984-2010. It has various iterations of the faculty handbook, policy manuals, Codification, faculty constitution, and regulations and procedures written by or related to the UNC faculty. There can also be found reception and award programs (1990s-2000s), AAUP materials, New Faculty Orientation (2005), teaching/change requests, information pertaining to faculty projects, and evaluation documents (1940-1976).

Faculty Senate documents accumulated and donated by Rick Silverman are also part of this collection. These date from the 1990s to early 2000s.
