This folder originally held two items. Item 1 -- "Double Anniversary," The Denver Post, June 9, 1940, n.p. The Double Anniversary on June 13, 1940 referred to the fiftieth anniversary of the laying of the cornerstone at Colorado State College of Education (now the University of Northern Colorado). Pioneer Day, also held on June 13, 1940, was held by the Greeley Pioneer Society to celebrate the seventieth anniversary of the founding of Greeley, Colorado. Item 2 -- "Four unidentified women in historic sports costume [standing in front of Gunter Hall?]", n.d. Photocopy of a black and white photograph, oversized. The photocopy was transferred to: Box #: RG018.S12.F3.
