Wilson, Albert S., 1906-1907
Scope and Contents
Albert S. Wilson (1878-1915) served as Librarian and Professor of Bibliography at the State Normal School of Colorado, 1906-1907. He was born on March 11, 1878 at Merritton, Ontario, Canada and graduated from the local high school. He received a B.A. degree with high honors from the University of Torononto in 1900 and a B.D. from the University of Chicago in 1902. He served as Chief Librarian at the Haskell Library at the University of Chicago from 1904 until September 1906. After leaving Greeley, Wilson then served as director of the Library School at the University of Illinois,1907-1912 and at Washington State College (Pullman, Washington) from 1912 until his death on May 9, 1915.
