Collection Scope and Contents
This collection documents the planning, change, and growth of UNC's built enviornment. It contains plans, blueprints, and renderings of UNC buildings, building dedication emphemera, property valuations, and construction documents. Also included are long-range development and master plans for both physical spaces and departments, including UNC Facilities Management. There are photographs of aerials, Cranford building fire, construction, completed buildings, and a Womens Athletic Association scrapbook. This collection also contains information on art on campus (including Totem Teddy), space planning, remodels, and photographs in Gunter Hall. It also includes two time capsules- the Belford Hall Time Capsule and cornerstone box from 1890.
