Master's Thesis Proposal, 1987
Subseries Scope and Contents
The Master’s Thesis Proposal subseries consists of a single item – the proposal written by Morris A. Pierce for his master’s thesis originally to be titled “Building God’s Workshop: The University of Northern Colorado.” In the proposal, Pierce included historical information on the development of the UNC campus and stated that there was “a paucity of available information about the physical plant of the University.” The purpose of his thesis was to rectify this problem by gathering and making available information about the UNC campus. In June 1988, Pierce submitted his thesis entitled “A Century of Campus Planning and Construction at the University of Northern Colorado” as part of the requirements for the degree of Master of Arts in History.
