Minutes from May 2, 1889 - April 19, 1912 are of the Trustees of the State Normal School and, beginning June 1911, the Colorado State Teachers College. This material is bound in an oversized volume. There is a volume containing the originals and a volume with photocopies of the original volume.

Minutes from May 28, 1912 - April 11, 1919 are of the Trustees of the Colorado State Teachers College. There is a bound volume containing the originals and a box of loose-leaf photocopies arranged in folders (photocopied from the original volume when held at the Colorado State Archives).

Minutes from April 17, 1919 - August 20, 1953 are of the Trustees of Colorado State Teachers College and, as of February 1935, the Colorado State College of Education, at Greeley. Materials are contained in four bound volumes, and there are volumes containing teh originals and volumes of photocopies from the originals. Beginning in 1946, includes minutes from statewide Board of Trustees which oversaw multiple instiutions of higher learning in Colorado.

Minutes from September 16, 1953 - August 23, 1958 are of the Trustees of the Colorado State College of Education, at Greeley and, as of February 1957, Colorado State College. This material is located in five bound volumes and includes minutes from Adams State and Western State Colleges because the three colleges were governed by the Trustees of Colorado State Colleges.

Minutes from September 19, 1958 - December 11, 1965 are of the Trustees of the Colorado State College. This material is located in seven bound volumes.

Minutes from April 24, 1965 - June 30, 1973 are of the Trustees of the Colorado State College and, as of May 1970, the University of Northern Colorado. Material is original and housed in folders. This date range also includes bound volumes from the Trustees of Colorado State Colleges.
