Robert Albrecht served as vice president of academic affairs from 1982-1987. This subseries contains materials from Albrecht's tenure as vice president of academic affairs. It includes memos and reports from Albrecht, his assistant, and assistant vice presidents. Memos and reports largely document curriculum and curriculum approval, budget, professional development, raising awareness of diversity issues, program review, department chairs, hiring freeze, and a handful of memos pertaining to individual programs or campus departments. This subseries also has some of the earliest documentation on faculty evaluation procedures, and includes templates, forms, policies, and processes for evaluatiing faculty in all colleges and the library. Planning documents include ideas, goals, personnel and budget needs, captial requests for individual colleges, and early computing system plans.
