James E. Walker served as vice president of academic affairs and provost from 1987-1991. This subseries contains a relatively small amount of materials documenting James E. Walker's term as provost. It includes memos, reports, and procedures for faculty evaluation, strategic planning, retreats, and information technology/computing. Also includes one folder from William Duff's time as interim vice president, containing information on retirement, searches, and an academic calendar.
