Stephen Hulbert served as senior vice president then provost from 1994-1996. This subseries largely includes information related to strategic and academic planning, such as a full packet of information from an Academic Affairs retreat and documents produced and gathered by the Academic Planning Subcommitteee, which was a body of the Strategic Planning Committee charged with developing the institution's academic plan. Documents include agendas and minutes from meetings, draft plan, and supporting and reference documents. This subseries also includes detailed informatiion on course fees from 1995-1997, curriculum approval process, position authorizations, and a handful of memos from Hulbert. It also contains copies and drafts of the UNC Codification, a precursor to the Board Policy Manual.
