Serving first as interim provost, Robbyn Wacker was Provost and Senior Vice President from 2011-2017. Because Provost Wacker was Assistant Vice President of Research for six years prior to becoming provost, and because she interfiled records created prior to her tenure as provost with records created while provost, the records span a broader date range. This series largely documents the colleges and divisions within Academic Affairs and includes emails, meeting notes, reports, statistics, and other documents filtered up to the provost's office. There is a large amount of material documenting meetings between Wacker and the deans and directors of colleges and programs. It includes documents from Wacker's involvement with the Coldorado School of Public Health, a collaboration between UNC, CU, and CSU. This largely includes assessments, reports, presentations, correspendonce, and hand-written notes. The subseries also contains information about fundraising priorities and work with the Education Advisory Board, a consulting firm hired to help with improving graduation rates, retention, and student engagement.

There is documentation on the founding of the Education Innovation Institute, which was "created to leverage new and existing applied research to solve practical problems in education reform." Additionally, researchers will find a sizeable amount of enrollment planning materials consisting of meeting agendas, notes, enrollment reports and projections, statistical data, and worksheets for achieving enrollment targets.
