Series Scope and Contents
This series contains research materials and drafts created by Frank X. Roberts as he completed research centered on the history of the University of Northern Colorado libraries. This material was used to create articles written by Roberts for the university library newletter Bibliotech and other printed matierials. There is also drafts created during Roberts' work on a research project about the libraries history. Included are some original printed materials from Michener Library.

Biographical Information
F. X. Roberts was born in Quincy, Massachusetts in 1932. He received a Master's Degree in Education from Boston State College, a master's degree in librarianship from Simmons College in Boston, and a Ph.D. in Higher Education and Academic Librarianship from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He taught librarianship and American literature in England, East Africa, Australia, and the United States. He is a retired reference librarian from the James A. Michener Library at the University of Northern Colorado. His poetry has been published in small journals and magazines.
