Contains a series of clippings from the Mirror, the Greeley Tribune, and FYI concerning various revisions of faculty tenure and removal process that occurred as a result of the "state of exigency" declared in 1983. Term Faculty Task Force, 1996

Scope and Contents

In Spring Semester 1996, Provost Steve Hulbert charged a Task Force to study the history and status of term faculty at UNC and to make proposals for change as appropriate. This folder contains the report of that Task Force, and its letter of transmittal. Appendix C of the Report is a 1990 AAUP Policy Documents and Reports article: "On Full-Time Non-Tenure-Track Appointments."
