Scope and Contents [url=http://www.unco.edu/uncmap/buildings/buildings.asp?ID=42]Gray Hall[/url], completed in 1916, was originally known as the Women's Club House. The club house was used for "social campus functions." Gray Hall is named for [url=http://library.unco.edu/archives/arc_past_presidents_1890-1991.htm#Gray]Thomas J. Gray[/url], the University's first president. In 1927 the reception room had a grand piano at one end of the room and "a spacious davenport before an open fireplace" at the other end....
