Scope and Contents

The Centennial Graduation Banners used at the 1990 Centennial Graduation in May 1990 were created by Lydia Ruyle, Mary Ellen Kingsbury, and Ruth Savig for the College of Performing and Visual Arts (PVA), College of Education, The Graduate School, College of Business Administration, College of Health and Human Services, and the College of Arts and Sciences. The banners were used at official University of Northern Colorado ceremonies such as Convocation and Commencement. An article about the Centennial Graduation Banners appeared on pages 24 and 25 of the March 1990 issue of Spectrum (RG3 S12 F9). Thomas "Woody" Myers, a Senior Graphic Designer in University Relations, designed a banner for the University Libraries which was first used during the Spring 2011 commencement ceremony.
